Cristina Escudero Tiangco (Left in the photo) of the Department of Chemical Engineering, just left the Philippines to do her PhD Dissertation Research at the University of Maryland in the USA. She is one of the ten recipients of the USAID Science, Technology, Research and Innovation for Development (USAID-STRIDE) scholarships.
